What is TRUCKBEDLIVING and what do we do?
What a good question!
The Backstory:
At our inception we were just a hobby instagram page looking for suggestions on truck camping buildouts. At the time I had a hideous green color first gen Toyota Tundra and wanted to hit the road. I made it work with just a simple wooden bed platform and a foam mattress that I used a power saw to cut into size. Don't be fooled, this worked for what I needed but I was left wondering what else could I build to make it more practical and fun. Fast forward a few years, a few different trucks and here we are.
As the interest in truck camping grew so did our following. Before we knew it people were reaching out for suggestions on how to do certain things or looking for a place to share their favorite truck camping hack with others. Once this happened I knew we could do more to make a bigger impact. Over time our story has changed but our mission has remained the same; community. We are extremely proud to be a forefront in the online resource for truck camping and truck camping accessories.
Where we are now:
